IAB Europe is excited to announce the launch of a Request for Proposal for the development of an automated testing tool to scale up the auditing of TCF participants in mobile app environments. While the TCF Compliance team already relies on a custom crawler to audit participants’ live installations in the web environment, audits in mobile applications are still carried out manually. To further expand and improve the TCF Compliance Programmes, IAB Europe wants to invest in a custom tool to automate the auditing of participating companies in mobile app environments.
IAB Europe is seeking an independent contractor to develop an automated testing tool to verify CMP and Vendor compliance with the TCF policies and technical specifications, starting with Android and iOS environments. The tool will enable IAB Europe to scale up monitoring by inspecting SDK calls and associated data transmission, and by verifying CMP UIs within mobile applications.
We invite respondents to demonstrate their capabilities and understanding of the digital ecosystem and TCF. We are looking for a solution that is cross-platform compatible (Android & iOS), modular, and regularly updatable to reflect iterations to the TCF. IAB Europe aims to begin testing the solution in late 2025 / early January 2026.
