Dr. Daniel Knapp is an advertising and media analyst with more than 15 years of international experience. He has served in leadership roles spanning market analysis, strategic advisory, and business intelligence and is responsible for producing IAB Europe’s annual AdEx Benchmark Report.
Daniel spent 11 years at IHS Markit, latterly as Executive Director for Technology, Media, and Telecoms. He was also an associated expert on media and AI at the European Commission. Daniel received his PhD from the London School of Economics (LSE) on the sociology of algorithms and the datafication of media. In addition to his role at IAB Europe, he is CSO at Twins Digital, a marketing services company, and partner at Ecuiti, a data science firm.
As well as leading all marketing, communication and PR initiatives for IAB Europe, Helen manages IAB Europe’s industry committees to promote industry collaboration to deliver frameworks, standards and industry programmes that enable business to thrive in the European market. Helen joined IAB Europe from a global AdTech company where she was VP of Global Marketing. Prior to joining Vibrant in New York, Helen lived in London and Berlin working both agency-side and in-house for TV channels, government organisations and digital start-ups.
A telecoms engineer by training, Franck is an experienced Brussels political adviser, with expertise in the digtial advertising, social media, telecoms and cybersecurity sectors. He also has first-hand experience of the workings of the European Commission in humanitarian aid and civil protection. At IAB Europe, Franck engages with and responds to the EU digital agenda and wider trends and changes in digital advertising policy and regulation.
Ninon leads the privacy-oriented work of IAB Europe and oversees the TCF compliance programmes. She has previously worked at Leboncoin Group in Paris, responsible for ePrivacy & GDPR legal compliance for advertising operations, and at Sirdata on data protection where she took part in developing a commercial Consent Management Platform. Prior to Sirdata, she worked as consultant for an advisory firm in strategy, crisis communications & public affairs.
Marie-Clare has spent 10+ years in the digital advertising and marketing industry leading collaborative projects, research and events. She is tasked with driving IAB Europe's industry engagement and initiatives within Retail Media as well as owning the association’s industry research and insights outputs and roadmap.
As a Public Policy Manager, Inés monitors EU policy, legislative developments and plans, executes the advocacy strategy of the organisation, and serves as an EU institutional liaison related to the online media and advertising industry. She has experience at the European Commission in International Data Flows and Protection through the BlueBook programme and has legal experience in data protection and corporate law. Inés holds a Master’s in Legal Practice as well as a dual Bachelor’s in Business & Law from Carlos III University of Madrid (UC3M), which she earned through studies in Spain, Germany and the USA.
Dimitris drives IAB Europe’s initiatives in sustainability, offering educational resources and in-depth emissions analysis while contributing to industry standards for digital channels. He also leads the AI Working Group, focusing on the impact of artificial intelligence on the digital ecosystem, and supports market intelligence efforts through advanced research and analytical insights.Before joining IAB Europe, Dimitris worked at CNN International Commercial and was a founding member of Blue Marble Energy Services. Dimitris obtained a BSc (Hons) in Economics, Statistics, and Mathematics from Queen Mary University of London.
As a Public Policy Officer, Nina monitors EU policy and legislative developments. She is the policy lead on AI and coordinates the organisation's podcast and newsletter, ‘Policy Matters.’ She graduated from Leiden University with an MA in International Relations and joined IAB Europe after gaining experience at the UN, a women’s rights NGO, and Euractiv.
Jason, a luminary in Global Commerce at GroupM, possesses a dynamic 15-year journey, spanning b2b sales, E-Commerce, and Retail Media. As the former European E-Commerce lead for Hasbro, he seamlessly transitioned his expertise to pivotal senior Commerce roles at Publicis Groupe and now WPP’s GroupM. Jason's fervour lies in crafting successful growth strategies that seamlessly integrate people, data, and AdTech. His client engagements have included Colgate-Palmolive, Amazon, Samsung, P&G, HP, Disney, and Vodafone. Elected Chair of IAB Europe’s Retail Media Committee in January 2024, Jason champions this multi-stakeholder group’s industry-defining work in standardisation across this nascent category of digital advertising.
Pete oversees global industry and client solutions at Magnite, focusing on data, identity, and addressability. With over 20 years of digital advertising experience, he specializes in building international teams and launching products. In addition to leading Magnite’s efforts, Pete chairs IAB Europe’s Post Third-Party Cookie Working Group, guiding the industry through cookie deprecation. Previously, he founded Carbon, a DMP acquired by Magnite in 2022, and has held senior roles at Google, Yahoo!, and other major brands.
Wayne has a diverse background, from being a chef and photographer to working as cabin crew for Virgin Atlantic, where he honed the customer service skills that define his work ethic. After earning a bachelor’s degree in Editorial Photography, he retrained in digital marketing with The IDM, later teaching their Programmatic Essentials course and lecturing on Digital Transformation. With over 16 years of experience in digital, Wayne is a sales leader at DoubleVerify, overseeing programmatic solutions across EMEA. Elected Chair of IAB Europe’s Programmatic Trading Committee in 2023, he’s driving industry progress.
Arthur Millet is an expert in digital advertising. Since the early 2000s, Arthur Millet has mainly worked in the media world. He was notably the Director of Digital Advertising at Le Monde and for Amaury Media Group, and Managing Director of La Place Media, before becoming Director of Operations at Realytics (RTL Adconnect). He joined IAB France at the beginning of 2022 to take over the general management.
Steffen Hubert has spent his entire professional career in various facets of communication. The spectrum ranges from own copywriting & editing to political communication, to comprehensive media responsibility in the spirits industry, to the Seven.One Entertainment Group, where he has been employed for six years and has been anticipating the sustainability concerns and demands of the advertising market and translating them into business for years now.
