The Retail & Commerce Media Committee is a multi-stakeholder group that aims to increase understanding of the retail media and commerce advertising ecosystem, enable cross-stakeholder initiatives, and develop standards, particularly in the area of metrics and measurement, so that retail advertising in Europe can thrive.
2025 priorities include:
- Industry Education and Definitions - 101 Guide and Retail Media definitions updates. Plus new educational content, including a Guide to Sponsored Ad Products and a Guide to Native Ad Formats for Retail Media Networks.
- Standardisation & Guidelines - Updated measurement standards for Retail Media and new Incremental Sales Measurement Guidelines.
- Market Intelligence - Regular market sizing updates, updated capability mapping and usage reporting, and Attitudes to Retail Media Report.
- Thought-Leadership & Networking - Retail Media Impact Summit, Great Debate Retail Media Events, Q&A blog content on key topics & monthly showcasing sessions.
