Townsend Feehan is CEO of IAB Europe. Prior to joining IAB Europe, Townsend worked for Microsoft Legal & Corporate Affairs in Brussels and ran EU industry associations in the ICT, consumer electronics and biotechnology sectors. She previously represented Microsoft on IAB Europe’s Board. Townsend has an M. Phil. in European policy from the University of Edinburgh.
Helen Mussard is the Chief Marketing Officer for IAB Europe, the European-level association for the digital marketing and advertising ecosystem. As well as leading all marketing, communication and PR initiatives for IAB Europe, Helen manages IAB Europe’s industry committees to promote industry collaboration to deliver frameworks, standards and industry programmes that enable business to thrive in the European market. Helen joined IAB Europe from global AdTech company, Vibrant Media, where she was VP of Global Marketing. Prior to joining Vibrant in New York, Helen lived in London and Berlin working both agency-side and in-house for TV channels, government organizations and digital start-ups.
Alexandre's scope for IAB Europe, includes developing and owning a strategic, rolling 12-month plan that identifies the key technical challenges facing the advertising ecosystem and providing direction as to where focus should be applied and what this focus should be covering. He takes on a co-leadership role within IAB Europe’s taskforces, providing expert technical advice to inform their work and planning. He represents IAB Europe within Tech Lab’s OpenRTB and Programmatic Supply Chain & Buy-side Transparency Working Groups. He supports IAB Europe’s legal compliance team as necessary, including on their work to assess the impact of technical and business developments on the TCF and the development of technical tools for compliance. He's focused on driving both product development and technical implementation across the TCF. He had previously worked at Smart AdServer as Product Specialist – Programmatic, been involved in IAB France and in IAB Tech Lab work.
At IAB Europe, Filip is the subject matter lead for privacy & data protection, overseeing the GDPR legal compliance programme, including the Transparency & Consent Framework (TCF). Previously, he has worked as a regulatory consultant in the private sector and as a legal expert on several EU FP7 funded projects related to privacy and data protection as well as the harmonisation of Member State legislation in the areas of consumer protection and renewables. Filip has a Master’s in Law from Université catholique de Louvain (UCL) and an LLM in International & European Law from the Institute for European Studies at the Vrije Universiteit Brussel (VUB). He speaks English, French, Portuguese and Bulgarian.
Ninon supports the privacy-oriented work of the Legal and Policy Committees, TCF Working Groups, and takes part in overseeing the TCF compliance programme. She has previously worked at Leboncoin Group in Paris, responsible for ePrivacy & GDPR legal compliance for all of the company's advertising operations and managing compliance for new business acquisitions, and at Sirdata, on GDPR compliance where she took part in developing a commercial Consent Management Platform. Prior to Sirdata, she worked as consultant for an advisory firm in strategy, crisis communications & public affairs.
Marie-Clare manages IAB Europe's industry committees, projects events and outputs within the programmatic, brand advertising and research work streams. She also looks after marketing, PR and events. Marie-Clare holds a First Class BA (Hons) Marketing degree and before joining IAB Europe held various marketing and business development roles.
As Marketing and Industry Programmes Director, Lauren helps support and look after the marketing, communication, and events initiatives for IAB Europe. Working alongside the CMO, Helen Mussard, Lauren also manages IAB Europe's industry committees, to help promote industry collaboration, playing a key role in the outputs within the programmatic, brand advertising, and research workstreams. Prior to joining the IAB Europe team, Lauren worked at Global Ad Tech company, Ogury, as a Senior Content Marketing Manager, where she was responsible for shaping, driving, and executing Ogury's B2B Marketing strategy and creating and managing content across all channels. Lauren has a BA (Hons) in English and has previously worked in various marketing roles within the Ad Tech space.

Prior to his involvement with IAB Europe, Hasan worked as Assistant Manager Administration at Noor Takaful insurance and Noor Bank in Dubai, UAE for 9 years.
Greg is IAB Europe’s Director of Public Policy. He is a public policy professional with an interest and experience in the online media and advertising industry. In his current role, he engages on substantive policy dossiers pertaining to privacy and data protection, advertising, disinformation and media, as well as oversees advocacy strategy and EU institutional liaison. Greg also represents IAB Europe in various industry fora, ensuring effective collaboration with ad ecosystem stakeholders.
Colombe holds BA in Art History and a MA in Business communications. Prior to her involvement with IAB Europe, Colombe worked as a Communications Manager at Microsoft Europe and as a Communications consultant for European Communications projects for the European Commission.
Inés Talavera de la Esperanza
As a Public Policy Officer Inés monitors EU policy, legislative developments and plans, executes the advocacy strategy of the organization, and serves as an EU institutional liaison related to the online media and advertising industry. She joins the IAB team with experience at the European Commission in International Data Flows and Protection through the BlueBook programme and has legal experience in data protection and corporate law. Inés holds a Master’s in Legal Practice as well as a dual Bachelor’s in Business & Law from Carlos III University of Madrid (UC3M), which she earned through studies in Spain, Germany and the USA.

Chairman of the Interactive Advertising Bureau France (IAB France) since April 2020, Nicolas Rieul is involved in various associations and assume at the same time the Vice-Presidency of the Mobile Marketing Association France - of which he was the Chairman since May 2019. Head of the Mobile Advertising Commission between 2015 and 2017 and of the MMA’s International and Public Affairs Commission, his knowledge of the industry and of the online advertising quickly led him to defend the entire online communication ecosystem interests in France and Europe.
Apart from his associative responsibilities, Nicolas Rieul has been, since August 2019, Managing Director & Industry Relations Europe of Criteo France. He previously held the positions of Head of Ad Operations at Mozoo, then Head of Mobile at Dentsu Aegis Network and finally Global Chief Strategy & Marketing Officer at S4M.
Thomas Duhr is Executive Vice-President Interactive at IP Deutschland GmbH and a Board Member of IAB Europe. Additionally he serves as Vice-President within the Executive Board of BVDW (representing IAB Germany) responsible for data, technology, politics and international.
Tim Geenen is the Managing Director, Addressability - Europe at LiveRamp - the global leader in data connectivity. Previously he was the founder of Faktor, a privacy technology company, acquired by LiveRamp in 2019. Tim held leadership roles at GroupM and Improve Digital, where he was responsible for strategy, innovation and partnerships. He also co-founded, and was the chairman of, the first programmatic IAB taskforce in Europe. Currently he serves as a board member for VIA Netherlands. Tim knows the digital media and technology business inside out, and is just as comfortable in the commercial, operational and technical aspects of the advertising industry.
Reyes Justribó is IAB Spain General Manager since June 2018. Previous to this position she had management positions in different multinational companies such as DDB Madrid, Nokia and Microsoft.
With a Degree in Marketing and a Master in Sales&Marketing, Reyes has led diverse and multicultural teams all around Europe and Latam on Marketing and Sales responsibilities during her career.
IAB Spain is one of the leader associations in its home country with a great base of associates including the whole digital ecosystem, and very active on promoting and defending the further development of the digital industry.
Luis Marinho-Falcão has headed operations at IAB Portugal since 2015, co-co-hosting Interact Lisbon in 2016 (and 2022!), actively engaging in numerous IAB committees and task forces, co-authoring IAB Europe’s “Guide to Digital Transformation” and hosting more than a couple of online events. He is often a guest lecturer of digital marketing at 3 Universities' Post Grad courses in Lisbon. This is after 3 decades in marketing communications that saw him founding Ogilvy Interactive in Lisbon in 1998, heading operations at Wunderman Worldwide in Istanbul in 2001, relaunching the BMW Group in Portugal in 2003 and becoming the executive director of the Ogilvy Group in Mozambique in 2008. He is fluent in 4 languages and can get by in two more. He believes the term ‘Digital Marketing’ should be abolished, since there is no ‘Marketing’ without ‘Digital’ today, and that every challenge now facing our industry is nothing but another Darwinian test
Wlodek Schmidt is Chairman of the IAB Europe Board and President & CEO of IAB Poland. At the same time he holds the Board Position of the Polish Advertising Council.
Allan Sorensen is the Head of Digital at Danish Media branch organization, which is the body of IAB Denmark, and he is in charge of all matters concerning digital media and advertising. He holds a Master of Science in Economics and has an analytical background as well as a history as the CEO of a web agency and the former Online Manager of a news media. Before going into digital media, Allan worked with communication both as political staff and at a PR agency.
Jon is the recently appointed Chief Executive of the IAB UK, the trade body representing the digital advertising industry. The IAB’s role is to unite the industry with 1,200 members, including media owners, agencies and brands. Jon’s vision stems from the belief that digital is the smartest way for brands to reach and wow their customers. His mission is to re-assert the positives of digital. He has been at the IAB since 2008, joining as the first Head of Mobile before stepping up to become Director of Mobile and Operations and then the IAB's first Chief Operating Officer. Prior roles include Head of Marketing for Orange portals team, controlling the trade and consumer marketing strategies and media research. Jon has featured as number 10 in The Drum’s Mobile Top 50 and has spoken on numerous high profile platforms. He is fascinated with technology and known in the industry for his witty banter.
Suzanne has over 20 years of experience in the media/marketing sector. She is a former director of Independent Radio Sales, a founder of the Radio Awards, and is a former chairperson of the Outdoor Media Association. As a lecturer in DIT's marketing department Suzanne developed digital marketing course content. Her background in radio and outdoor advertising coupled with her legal and digital advertising expertise ensures that she is equipped to play a leading role in the development of Ireland's online advertising industry as CEO for IAB Ireland, the international trade organisation for digital advertising. Membership of IAB Ireland includes all the key stakeholders in the Irish digital advertising market from multinationals such as Google, Facebook, Twitter to all the key Irish digital media owners, advertising agencies, digital specialists and brands. Under Suzanne’s leadership IAB Ireland’s outputs across best practice, research, training and policy have driven growth of the Irish digital market since 2010 by 139% to €263m. Suzanne has recently joined the board of IAB Europe and is also a director of the Irish International Business Network (IIBN) Ireland.
Dr Mahmut Kursun
He has his BS degree from Bogazici University in Mechanical Engineering, and also had his MS degree and PhD in Industrial Engineering from the same university. From 1997 to 2003, he acted as the Coordinator of Project Finance in energy and mining projects of Ciner Group. From 2003 to 2007, he acted as the Chief Information Officer of Sabah/ATV group from 2003 to 2007. He is currently working as the Chief Information Officer, and the General Manager of Digital Media of Ciner Group. Starting from early 2015 he acts as the Chairman of IAB Turkey, and Member of the Board of IAB Europe.
A founder of IAB Greece in 2001 and co-founder of IAB Europe in 2002, Constantine served as IAB Europe’s Chairman of the Board of Directors from May 2013 to September 2018 and currently continues to be engaged with IAB Europe as the association's Chairman Emeritus. He is also an adviser to OPA Europe, working with a select group of premium content providers on the association’s “best practices in digital publishing” program. In his native Greece, he sits on the Boards of leading digital companies, advising them on Strategy & Business Development as well as Corporate and Brand Communications.
Julie Selman is Head of EMEA for Magnite where she oversees the commercial strategy, planning, product requirements and business development for the entire region. Selman works closely with the regional leaders, teams and partners based in Berlin, London, Milan and Paris to deliver the best independent technology solutions, service, expertise, and outcomes for Magnite’s publishers and buyers. Selman brings with her over 15 years’ experience working across the digital advertising industry, specialising in connected TV (CTV), programmatic, and digital media sales. Joining from FreeWheel, a Comcast company, Selman most recently held the position of Senior Director and Head of Demand Strategy UK and Northern Europe.
As General Manager E-Commerce & Advertising, Robert Blanck is responsible for all activities related to the user, website, and advertising that go beyond traditional ad sales. In his more than ten years at BILD and the Axel Springer media brands, he has developed new, sustainable business models, for example, through the founding of the BILD Shop, the monetization of users despite adblockers or the development and introduction of TCF 2.0. His expertise in assessing the commercial consequences of technical and regulatory changes in the market keeps him very busy on the issues of GDPR, ePrivacy, Google Privacy Sandbox, and a customized data strategy. In addition, Robert Blanck is part of many different national and international associations and working groups dealing with the exciting challenges of changing the advertising ecosystem.
As Senior Director, Publisher Thomas Mendrina is responsible for Xandr' sell side business in Central Europe. One of his main goals is to strengthen the relationship with all publishers. In his previous position as General Manager International he was in charge of the development of the consent management platform Sourcepoint in Europe. Previously, Mendrina led the Media Publishing business unit at Google in the DACH region and, as Head of Marketplace Development, also accelerated the programmatic growth of the Google Ad Exchange. As Head of Commercial Development at Axel Springer, he developed and was responsible for non-traditional digital marketing activities.
Stuart joined the Kantar Media Audience division in 2019 working on Cross Media Measurement currency projects with JICs and other industry coalitions. Prior to joining Kantar, he was Head of Industry Relations EMEA for Comscore overseeing Internet Audience Measurement JIC projects as well as heading Measurement Standards Compliance and Audit Certifications in Europe. Previously he was MD EMEA of BPA Worldwide, the media auditor. He served on the Board of IAB Europe until 2019 and held the position of Vice Chair.
Neil Bowman is the Vice-President of Advertising Technology for BBC Advertising. He is responsible for the technical direction and integration of all ad platforms across the globe. This includes responsibility for ad serving, programmatic, data management and warehousing, new ad format and site monitoring across BBC’s international TV, radio and digital portfolio. Prior to joining the BBC, Neil held senior roles in technology, product and operations at AOL Advertising where he ran a team of specialists focussing on adserving technology, video, mobile platforms and audience targeting for their O&O properties. He has also held technical and operational positions at Trinity Mirror and Carlton Interactive.
Bethan Crockett, Senior Director of Brand Safety and Digital Risk, GroupM EMEA With 18 years of experience working on the front line of digital advertising at Yahoo! then Microsoft, Bethan started her career in display advertising and then moved to search operations, before joining GroupM in 2015. Her current focus is on media quality and data integrity policy, process and governance to support GroupM EMEA’s digital strategy.
Rhys Noelke is Senior Vice President Strategy & Business Development at RTL Group’s Corporate Center in Luxembourg. RTL Group is leading European entertainment network with 61 TV channels, 30 radio stations, the worldwide production company FremantleMedia. RTL Group is the leading European media company in online video with local VOD streaming platforms like TVnow, 6Play and Videoland, majority stakes in the multi-platform networks BroadbandTV, Divimove and United Screen as well as one of the globally leading video advertising technology company SpotX. Rhys started his career as freelance journalist, joined RTL Group in Luxembourg in 2007. To date his role as Head of RTL Group’s strategy encompasses managing transformation of television business, fostering Group synergies, developing and monetizing digital video and driving innovation in tech and data. He is also member on numerous Boards overseeing the global business of SpotX, as well as US investments in Videoamp, Clypd and the Pan-EU sales house RTLAdconnect.
Alex is Vice President at Samsung Ads, Europe. Alex joined Samsung Electronics Europe from Amazon in September 2017. He is responsible for growing and building the advertising business across Samsung Smart TVs and their O&O platform across Europe by leveraging Samsung's unique first party data.
Prior to joining Samsung Alex was the Director of Amazons’ advertising business in the UK and Spain. Where he was responsible for growing/building the UK and Spanish advertising business across web, mobile, Voice and Kindle platforms. Alex joined Amazon in February of 2012 from News International where he was Digital Commercial Director and was responsible for the commercial activity across all of News International's digital products.
Previously Alex worked at The Daily Telegraph, heading up a commercial development team responsible for delivery of innovative advertising solutions using online, data and print. Alex left The Telegraph in 2001 and joined Tiscali UK Ltd, the pan European ISP as UK sales director responsible for building their media offering in the UK and coordinating their sales strategy across 16 countries. Over the last three years at Tiscali he was commercial and media director responsible for their award winning portal.
