Retail Media digital advertising investment in Europe is projected to reach €31 billion by 2028, highlighting the significant and growing influence of Retail Media on the digital advertising landscape. To support media buyers in navigating this space, we have released the third and most up-to-date version of our Pan-European Retailer Digital Advertising Capability Map.

This unique resource - the first of its kind produced by an industry association - showcases the digital advertising capabilities of retailers* across Europe, covering sectors such as grocery, beauty, fashion, and marketplaces.

The updated map offers a comprehensive overview of the on-site, off-site, and in-store Retail Media opportunities provided by 25 leading retailers and Retail Media Networks (RMNs) operating across the region.

It also includes key information on available targeting and measurement capabilities, aligned with IAB Europe’s Retail Media Measurement Standards for Europe and the In-Store Measurement Standards developed in collaboration with the IAB.

The aim is to empower media buyers with the insights they need to effectively compare and assess retailer offerings across European markets.
