Industry Event – The European Connected TV Initiative (ECTVI) 2021 Seminars

TV’s New Era: Unlocking the full potential of the Connected TV Ecosystem in Europe

Exclusive Executive Seminar invitation via Zoom

The growth and development of Connected TVs (CTVs) has the potential to transform the TV advertising ecosystem, creating a wide range of compelling new opportunities for advertisers, agencies, and media owners. As penetration and usage grows, CTVs have the potential to support new forms of addressable advertising, enhance TV audience measurement, and facilitate the development of a new programmatic supply chain for TV advertising. Today, CTVs sit at the heart of many of the most important current debates about the future of TV and the wider media and advertising industries.

However, despite enormous excitement about the potential of CTVs, the market remains underdeveloped across Europe and many executives believe that there are significant barriers to unlocking the full potential of the new ecosystem.

The European Connected TV Initiative (ECTVI) 2021 Seminars

The European Connected TV Initiative (ECTVI) was officially launched in November 2020 and is focused on exploring the opportunities and challenges presented by CTVs, looking to develop a consensus about the practical steps that could be taken to unlock the full potential of the new CTVs. For further information on the launch, please click here.

As part of the Initiative, we are inviting qualified industry executives to join us at a series of special invite-only seminars to explore the opportunities and challenges in four key European markets: Netherlands, France, Italy and Germany.

The seminars will be a unique forum for debate and dialogue, involving key industry participants from each country, including broadcasters, media agencies, CTV manufacturers, advertisers, technology providers, key trade bodies and industry associations.

Seminar attendees will discuss key findings from an extensive consultation with industry experts in Europe and the USA, as well as contributions from Google, Roku, Fincons Group and IPONWEB.

We will also hear from a selection of senior executives about the development of the new CTV ecosystem, as well as discussing the practical steps that the industry could take to unlock the full potential of CTVs in their market.

The seminars will be conducted via Zoom and will be strictly off-the-record, with no press in attendance. All attendees will be senior industry professionals, from a diverse range of backgrounds.
