Constantine Kamaras

Chairman Emeritus, IAB Europe

Constantine has been passionate about the media business since the start of his career in the early 90s. Early stints included Lambrakis Press (93-96), as Head of Electronic Publishing (which pre-web meant… audiotext!) and the Paris-based World Association of Newspapers (96-2000), as Director of Management Services to members. Over the last decade or so, he has been sitting on the Boards of leading Greek companies, advising them on Digital Strategy & Business Development as well as Corporate and Brand Communications.

As association work can be quite addictive, Constantine continues to be active in trade bodies: a founder of IAB Greece in 2001 and co-founder of IAB Europe in 2002, he served as IAB Europe’s Chairman of the Board of Directors from May 2013 to September 2018 and is now the association's Chairman Emeritus. He is also an adviser to OPA Europe, working with a select group of premium content providers on the association’s “best practices in digital publishing”

Dr. Daniel Knapp is Chief Economist at IAB Europe. He is an advertising and media analyst with more than 15 years of international experience. He has served in leadership roles spanning market analysis, strategic advisory, and business intelligence. Daniel spent 11 years at IHS Markit, latterly as Executive Director for Technology, Media and Telecoms. He was also an associated expert on media and AI at the European Commission. Daniel received his PhD from the London School of Economics (LSE) on the sociology of algorithms and the datafication of media. In addition to his role at IAB Europe, he is CSO at Twins Digital, a marketing services company, and partner at Ecuiti, a data science firm.

Tanzil is DoubleVerify's Managing Director for EMEA, based out of London where he is responsible for building DV’s relationships with brands, agencies and media platforms across Europe and MENAT. With over 20 years of experience within the media industry, expanding ad tech across the EMEA region and building global partnerships, Tanzil brings experience and expertise in digital marketing strategy and transformation, process automation, partnership development and product commercialisation to the DoubleVerify EMEA team.

Danny Clayman

GM Northern Europe, Xandr

As GM Northern Europe, Danny oversees the buy and sell-side Commercial teams for Xandr in Northern Europe.  Working closely with clients on both sides, Danny and his team help agencies and advertisers establish their business on Xandr platform.

Danny started his career at Jellyfish, a full service Global Digital Agency headquartered in London. Danny held various positions at Jellyfish, including leading the Account Management teams in both the US and UK, alongside the Head of Strategy for Paid Media before joining the AppNexus team (now Xandr) in 2012. 

Danny earned a degree in Marketing and Economics from the University of Hull.  He is an avid Arsenal fan and pretends to be a good golfer.  He lives in Windsor with his wife, Katie, and sons, Louis and Max.

In 1992, Anna entered the advertising world as a Media Director at BBDO. From 1998 led MEC in Poland and then, Central Eastern Europe. From 2010 Chairman, CEE, Russia and CIS. In 2018 hold the position of CEO GroupM Poland, the largest media investment group controlling nearly 40 perc. share in the market

After over 25 years within advertising holdings, she moved to independent consultancy role. Since 2019 she works as a mentor, business and marketing advisor and member of supervisory boards.

Apart from her business duties, she has always been active in the initiatives serving the whole advertising community i.e. in  Polish Confederation Lewiatan - Main Council member (present),  in the role of the President of the Board of SAR Marketing Communication Association between 2009 – 2011, mentor for Foundation for Female Entrepreneur and as a president/jury member at various contests including Effie, Cannes, Media Trendy, Golden Hammer, Golden Drums, Cristal Awards and European MIXX Awards.

Terence Kawaja

Terence Kawaja is Founder and CEO of LUMA Partners, a leading strategic advisory firm focused at the intersection of media, marketing and technology. He is a seasoned investment banker with more than 25 years of experience and has advised on over $300 billion of transactions, including some of the most pivotal deals in the media and tech industries. Throughout his career, Terry has leveraged deep industry knowledge to take a strategic approach to deal making rather than chase transactions. The best compliment people say is that he thinks like a principal.

Terry is both a recognized expert in the Internet and media sectors and also a popular speaker at leading industry conferences, frequently using humor to aid substantive presentations. Besides spending time in board rooms and on stages, Terry enjoys guest lecturing at universities, including Stanford, Columbia and NYU. Terry has a straightforward style and is never afraid to tell it like it is. 

Previously, Terry headed Media M&A at Citigroup and Credit Suisse and had a short stint as a public company CFO. He lives in NYC with his wife and two boys.

Petri is an accomplished digital business developer with over 20 years of experience in the media industry. Petri is currently the CEO and partner at Relevant Digital, a digital advertising revenue development, service and technology company. His previous positions include several development roles especially in sales, video and display advertising at Finland's largest media house Sanoma.

Petri has also worked actively in IAB Finland and in IAB Europe as a board member.

Katharina Amtzen

Katharina Arntzen is Head of Ads Privacy InC Leads in Google’s EMEA Go-to-Market team. Together with her team she is partnering with advertisers, agencies and publishers to help them adapt and thrive in a changing ecosystem as well as representing Google in industry associations 

Katharina has been working for Google for more than eleven years. Prior to her current role she was responsible for the growth and adoption of the Google Marketing Platform suite of products in the UK  and Switzerland.  Before joining Google in 2010 Katharina worked in the luxury goods sector at Montblanc and in Weber Shandwick's public affairs department in Brussels. 

Katharina holds a BA in International Relations & French from the University of Leeds, an Msc in International Marketing Management from the Leeds University Business School as well as an Executive MBA from ESCP Europe.

As Chief Marketing Operations Officer of RTL AdConnect, Daniel Bischoff oversees all relevant marketing functions, including strategy development, pan-European digital and TV planning & buying, cross country total video research, development of scalable inventory products, as well as identification of new business and all sales support. Prior to joining RTL AdConnect in 2016, Daniel was head of strategic Marketing at IP Deutschland after joining from a 4,5 year stay at MediaCom Germany where he held various positions, including Managing Partner. Daniel Bischoff is 40 years old, married with three children. He studied Theater, Film and Media Sciences as well as Philosophy in Frankfurt, Brussels and Berlin.

Alex Stil

Alex has been working in the digital media space since 1996. Started with setting up an interactive department in a creative agency followed by setting up the first digital media agency in the Netherlands, Reddion.  This company was acquired by WPP in 2008.  Post acquisition Alex has been in multiple roles in GroupM. Started with leading Mindshare Netherlands and then moved into international digital roles in Mindshare (overseeing EMEA and Global Programmatic). In his current role in GroupM he is responsible for all digital activation in EMEA and is leading many regional and global transformation projects like: activation automation, workflow efficiency and the global project preparing for the cookieless world.

Before moving into digital media Alex owned a jewellery design shop and in his free time still is a jewellery designer for friends and family.

Ryan Martin

Global Business Marketing - Program Manager, TikTok

Ryan lives and works out of London and has worked in media since graduating. He joined the industry on the agency side as a press planner and buyer and fell in love with the traditional way of working, with big media brands and titles and essentially delivering reach for brands. As the industry developed his path took him into more and more digital roles. He's always felt his best work included multiple players from across the media landscape working in harmony to deliver results for clients.
Ryan joined TikTok 2 years ago and has helped build it into the business it is today. To work at a business with creativity at the heart makes coming to work every day a joy and to showcase these unparalleled opportunities to brands is a pleasure for him. TikTok is a platform where businesses can feel safe and confident with their brand and he has worked on multiple initiatives to prove this, such as their recent IAB UK Gold Standard 2.0 accreditation.

Business Development Manager, BBC World Service

Adam Bowie is a Business Development Manager for the BBC World Service. He has worked at the BBC for five years across the BBC World Service's portfolio, carrying out strategy, developing new commercial opportunities, and helping extend the BBC's podcast carriage globally. He developed the BBC's ex-UK podcast commercialisation plan, working with Acast and BBC Advertising. The BBC World Service reaches 350m people a week across more than 40 languages.

Previously, he worked for Absolute Radio and Virgin Radio in the United Kingdom, looking after research and digital strategy. There he worked closely with the UK’s radio ratings body, RAJAR, and helped introduce targeted audio advertising for Absolute Radio’s digital stream.

Joanna sets the strategy for ID5, the independent identity infrastructure for digital advertising. ID5's technology enables publishers to increase programmatic revenues and improve user experience with privacy by design, and allows ad tech platforms to operate more efficiently and to maximise the value of data and inventory.

She joined from SpotX which works with publishers and broadcasters across Europe to monetise their premium video content across desktop, mobile and connected TV.  

Over the past 25 years, Joanna has worked for a range of advertising companies from Microsoft and AOL to AppNexus, Draft FCB, EW Scripps, Omniture and Rubicon Project.

Ilona Lubojemska is Senior Director of Client Services at The Trade Desk. She oversees a team of Account Managers and Traders who provide strategic support to The Trade Desk’s clients across the UK and France, including some of the biggest agency holding groups such as Publicis Worldwide, Omnicom Media Group and WPP. Prior to The Trade Desk, Ilona worked for a number of technology companies including ad servers EyeWonder and Sizmek.

Vice-President of the European Commission for Values and Transparency

Věra Jourová is Vice-President of the European Commission for Values and Transparency, who previously served as the European Commissioner for Justice, Consumers and Gender Equality between 2014-19. She leads the Commission’s work on values and transparency, upholding the rule of law. She ensures the democratic system is open, transparent, and protected from external interference.

Prior to joining the Commission, she was Minister for Regional Development in the Czech Republic. From 2006 to 2013, Jourová directed her own international consultancy on European Union funding and advised on activities relating to European Union Accession in the Western Balkans. She was Deputy Minister for Regional Development from 2003 to 2006 and Head of the Department of Regional Development in the Vysočina Region from 2001 to 2003.

Previously, she served as Secretary and Spokesperson of the Třebič Municipal Office, from 1995 to 2001. Jourová holds a MA in Law and a MA in the Theory of Culture from the Charles University in Prague.

Having previously worked as an agency advocate in Brussels on many challenging issues for the ad industry, such as privacy and consumer protection, Stevan joined GroupM EMEA in 2017. He supports the company’s digital operations by looking after all areas of digital risk (reputational, financial and legal), and underpinning media quality processes and governance.


Elena Turtureanu

Senior Privacy and Compliance Counsel, Global, Adform 

Elena is Senior Privacy and Compliance Counsel, Global at Adform where she is responsible for advising the company on all the privacy and compliance related matters. Elena is CIPP/Europe accredited and has extensive expertise in media and digital advertising, commercial, IT and privacy law experience. Prior to joining Adform, Elena has served as Senior Legal Counsel at SAP, a multinational software corporation, specialized in ERP and Cloud Software. Before SAP, Elena was General Counsel at Smaato, a global advertising platform for mobile publishers and app developer. In these roles, Elena advised senior management on strategic deals, partnerships, new ventures and variety of legal and privacy issues including sales, expansion, data privacy framework and product technology. Elena received her Masters of Law and Business at the Bucerius Law School/WHU, Hamburg Germany.

Simon McDougall

Deputy Commissioner - Regulatory & Technology, Information Commissioner's Office (ICO)

Simon joined the ICO in October 2018 as a member of the Executive Team. Simon is responsible for leading the work of the Regulatory Innovation and Technology Directorate, ensuring delivery of ICO strategic goals through stakeholder liaison, guidance, research and international activity. 

His work includes helping the ICO identify, understand and address emerging technologies with privacy implications, supporting the ICO’s innovation agenda, and making the ICO itself more ‘tech savvy’.

Prior to this appointment, Simon led a global privacy consulting practice at Promontory, an IBM company, leading projects across Europe, the US and Asia. He previously led a similar team for Deloitte in the UK.  

Simon is qualified as a Chartered Accountant, and a long time ago read English Literature at Somerville College, Oxford.

She previously represented Microsoft on IAB Europe’s Board. Townsend has an M. Phil. in European policy from the University of Edinburgh.

Stefan is member of the Privacy Advisory Board of European netID Foundation (EnID). Prior to joining ProSiebenSat.1, Stefan worked as Global Corporate Privacy Officer at Allianz Asset Management AG, the financial services holding of Allianz Group. Stefan has a background as an information technology lawyer with two international law firms in Munich, New York, and Washington, D.C.


Marisa Jiménez Martín

Spanish lawyer by the University of Zaragoza, Marisa Jiménez is specialized in EU law by the Europa Institut of Saarbruecken, Germany. Marisa has over 20 years of public policy experience; she worked for the EU Commission at the beginning of her career and held various positions at Time Warner and Deutsche Post World Net Brussels Corporate public policy offices, dealing with a variety of public policy matters focusing on Privacy and Data Protection, Internet and RFID policy related issues. Before joining Facebook, Marisa led Google’s privacy public policy strategy both in Brussels and Mountain View in California.  Marisa joined Facebook in February 2018 as Director of Public policy and Deputy Head of  EU Affairs. She is based in Brussels, Belgium.

Armand Heslot has been working in management consulting firms on the implementation and management of IT projects before joining the CNIL in 2010. He worked for 3 years in the service of technological expertise in different sectors: banking, marketing, online advertising, transportation, energy, social... He then leaved the CNIL in 2013 to join Solocal Group as a security engineer in the data protection team of the group, before becoming DPO of the subsidiary in charge of the group's advertising activities and then head of the data protection team in 2016.

In 2017, he returns to the CNIL in the IT expert department, and he represents the CNIL in a Technological subgroup of the EDPB. In September 2019, he was appointed head of the technological expertise department, the department responsible for dealing with technical issues within the CNIL.

Leading a global team of programmatic specialists tasked with driving the adoption and growth of Programmatic revenue, whilst also exploring new monetization opportunities within CTV and Audio.

Emma Newman

Emma Newman has served as a pioneer in the digital media space with 20 plus years’
experience in all marketing disciplines, digital communications and business development.

Emma joined PubMatic in 2014 as a Senior Director of International Marketing, was
promoted to Vice President of International Marketing and later took on a commercial role as VP, UK. Emma was promoted to Chief Revenue Office, EMEA in August of 2019.

Prior to PubMatic, Emma spent 10 years at MSN in several marketing roles before
transitioning to lead their business excellence function across EMEA. She then served as AOL’s Senior Director of UK Marketing. Emma later joined the team that launched the Huffington Post in EMEA and sat on the board of Clear Channel UK as their Marketing Director.

Yale Cohen serves as the EVP of Global Digital Standards for Publicis Media Exchange (PMX), which encompasses all areas of media quality and protections to help advertisers understand the value of each individual impression. He has become Publicis Media’s industry voice for Standards, incorporating client needs for partners to adhere to Publicis’ stringent expectations.

Throughout his 16 years of digital advertising experience, Yale has worked alongside clients including JPMorgan Chase, Johnson & Johnson, Masterfoods and Zipcar. He joining the agency in March 2010 and has achieved several notable accomplishments over the past 12 months. He established the Digital Standards Team as a Center of Excellence within the agency, launched the Standards & Safety Hub as a global resource for clients and agencies, received MRC Accreditation by DoubleVerify for PMX’s proprietary viewability stance, and is developing Brand Safety Tools with YouTube and Facebook to better manage controls and protections for advertisers at a global or local level.

In 2018, he was recognized on Adweek’s Young Influential list, honoring top talent in media, marketing, and technology. As a member of the Global Alliance for Responsible Media, 4A’s Digital Operations and Technology Committee, 4A’s Advertising Protection Bureau, Project OAR, AdLedger and Trustworthy Accountability Group, Yale has proven to be a highly dedicated industry leader. He takes pride in providing the highest level of quality standards for advertisers, and is continuing to expand his vast expertise of the business.  

Yale currently resides in Jersey City but grew up in Houston and remains an avid Texas sports fan. Outside of the office, he is a dedicated father to his son, Cassius.

As Head of Ad Tech at IAB UK, the industry body for digital advertising, Tina is responsible for communicating the IAB’s position on key ad tech issues and acting as a voice for the sector at an industry-wide level. Her current priorities include developing IAB UK’s Gold Standard, coordinating the UK market’s response to the end of third-party cookies, helping brands, publishers and ad tech navigate conversations around brand safety and suitability, as well as engaging with cross-industry work to improve transparency. Tina joined IAB UK in 2018 as Ad Tech Manager, having previously gained first-hand ad tech experience at companies including Exponential and Affectv.


Jules Kendrick

Managing Director of UK and Europe, Trustworthy Accountability Group (TAG) 

Jules Kendrick is Managing Director of UK and Europe at the Trustworthy Accountability Group (TAG). Prior to joining TAG, Jules was CEO of the Joint Industry Committee for Web Standards (JICWEBS), a UK cross-industry trade body overseeing the independent development of Good Practice and Standards for digital ad trading, to increase transparency and trust in how digital advertising is bought and sold.

Jules has a wealth of commercial, technology and media expertise. She started her career in advertising at the Guardian & Observer Newspaper Group, moving on to launch the commercial department at the leading UK parenting forum, Jules was part of the team that launched the hugely successful Amazon Media Group in the UK, followed by leadership roles at IDG and Business Insider.

He is a digital marketing and programmatic veteran growing up in the Berlin start up world at Jamba at the Rocket Internet start up eDarling, leading the programmatic trading desk Spree7 and holding various positions at MediaMath.

Henrike Moessner is the Director of Privacy EMEA at eBay with 5 plus years’ experience in Privacy.

Prior to her role in the Privacy Team, Henrike worked several years for the Commercial Legal and Compliance Team.

Henrike is based in Switzerland and holds a Master of Law in Legal Issues, Crime and Security of Information Technologies (DCS) from the University of Lausanne.


Giulia Sala

Senior Associate, DGRS Law Firm

Senior Associate of DGRS Law Firm, Giulia joined DGRS in 2016 after an experience in a top-tier law firm specialized in intellectual property rights, industrial law and advertising law. She is currently DPO of several companies and she primarily assists on an on-going basis businesses and associations operating in the digital advertising market, including IAB Italy; she also advises on privacy matters in any industry, and her expertise include e-commerce, support to digital start-up and commercial contracts.

In particular, Giulia is an expert in big data and mobile advertising and she daily assists clients operating at some level of the programmatic advertising ecosystem.

Giulia has been a speaker at several conferences and events on personal data protection, as well as a lecturer in different courses.

Casey Hill serves in the Product Management organization at OneTrust – the #1 most widely used privacy, security and governance technology platform. In his role, Casey leads multiple product teams to deliver solutions for the OneTrust Consent Management Platform and advises companies large and small on the ever-changing landscape of web tracking and digital advertising compliance best practices. Casey also sits on a number of IAB working groups and chairs the Transparency and Consent Signals Working Group. Casey is a Certified Information Privacy Professional CIPP/E, CIPM, and earned a Bachelor’s of Engineering from the University of Michigan.


Shailley Singh

Acting General Manager and Senior Vice President, Product Management and Global Programs, IAB Tech Lab

Shailley is Acting General Manager and Senior Vice President, Product Management and Global Programs at the IAB Tech Lab. He leads the product management and adoption of industry standards, industry working group management and product development for brand safety, ad fraud, programmatic, user experience and measurement initiatives. He has led several initiatives at IAB Tech Lab namely Open Measurement SDK, New Ad Portfolio for LEAN, MRAID and Dynamic Ad Standards. In addition he also leads the DLT, Cryptography and Emerging Technologies working group.

Shailley has been focused on digital advertising most recently working at Yahoo managing mobile advertising products.
