Towards Responsible Influencer Marketing: Cooperation Between Policymakers, Regulators and Industry

17th November | 12:00 PM CET I Register here

Influencer marketing has become a major focus of both policy and public concern. The European Commission’s upcoming Digital Fairness Act (DFA) could place new demands on the influencer economy, especially around transparency, manipulation, and consumer protection. At the same time, industry-led initiatives like EASA’s AdEthics programme are already working to promote ethical conduct regarding influencer content.

This webinar will explore how policymakers, regulators, and industry can work together to strengthen trust in influencer marketing. The discussion will look at the role of targeted enforcement in addressing harmful practices, the importance of awareness raising among influencers and consumers alike, and how existing legislation can already be applied effectively in this space. National perspectives will also be highlighted to show how various approaches across Europe are shaping a fairer and more responsible influencer ecosystem.
