Uncovering mobile media consumption and attitudes to advertising - Exposure is a qualitative piece of research that seeks to discover what effects mobile is having on people’s media habits and why. The study was conducted over 5 stages consisting of vox pops, media consumption diaries, walkabouts, in-depth interviews and focus groups. 150 people took part in the research.

The mobile consumer spends $350B each year on connectivity, devices, and content. The mobile consumer has a lot of choices — communications and entertainment options are proliferating quickly. The mobile consumer is always connected -- through mobile device, PC, telephone, or TV — but is increasingly hard for marketers to reach. Nielsen Mobile is the world's largest provider of syndicated consumer research to the telecom and mobile media markets. Nielsen Mobile will provide the latest insight on consumer trends and behaviour on how mobile is being embraced in Europe and the US.
